Coronary Circulation: 12 Lead Case Study Analysis

Abstract:
This session will focus advanced analysis of 12 lead ECG’s correlating ECG findings to the coronary circulation, types of myocardial infarctions and assessment clues. Key content will include: anterior and inferior myocardial infarctions; non-Q wave vs. unstable angina; dextrocardia; axis deviation; correlation between coronary artery and the wall of the heart it feeds; and identifying potential complications for each type of MI.  Participants should bring a desire to enhance their understanding of 12 lead ECG’s and evaluation of the acute MI patient.

Objectives:
Correlate progressive ECG findings to patient assessment.
Describe how to assess axis deviation
Identify dextrocardia based on 12 lead ECG findings.

Format and Method of Instruction:
90 minutes to all day format
